search-engine-optimization-seo.gifOf late, it seems that hardly a week goes by without one of the major search engines coming out with some new trick to poach customers from rivals. One of the latest events is the debut of Google’s new “Google Apps for Your Domain.” Clumsy name huh? The package comprises of a complete Google suite for communication, similar to Yahoo’s, which includes chat, email, calendars and hosting. Wow. I can’t imagine that they’ll take ground from Yahoo overnight, because Yahoo Chat has a culture all its own. But then again, if it’s as much better than the Yahoo package as G-Mail is than Yahoo email, perhaps Yahoo has lost this particular battle. We shall have to wait and see.
